  • Sydney Warriors Championship Team

The Sydney Warriors Over 40 Team Lead by Captain Dushan Kamaragoda and Open Team Captain Lead by Charith Fonseka was victorious in bringing the St Thomas Adelaide Rugby Trophy to Sydney for the first time ever in a triumphant Championship victory. The victorious Sydney Winning Team in Adelaide showcased Sydney Warriors as a formidable winning squad playing as “One Team” to achieve unpresidential historical milestone in our Sydney rugby calendar. This history making achievement would be remembered for a lifetime for all the talented players and their families. Winning both Championships in Adelaide could only be matched by future remarkable players as Sydney Warriors. The Victorious Team managed to win all group stage matches as an unbeaten team with pure courage, persistence and perseverance. Well done to all players for making all Sydneysiders proud. We wish them all the success for 2023 Rugby Calendar.
