THE KINGSWOOD RUGBY TOURNAMENT(18/11/2023)
Congratulations to the boys on a great job and all the hard work put in…not forgetting our sponsors and everyone behind the scenes who contributed.
The Peterites were so close to the Championship final and it came down to a coin toss !!!! The boys won against Trinity and Royal in the preliminary rounds and then came up against the Rajans in the championship semi-final, securing a draw. Unfortunately, the tournament rules say that in this situation the match will be decided on a coin toss which went against the Pete’s.
The championship was won by Wesley. We will be back next year for that championship cup !!!!! After the match, the team gathered at “The Attic “ in Pinewood to socialise and groove to the beat of DJ LUVD A noteworthy mention goes to the SPC B team, which demonstrated excellence by securing the runnerup position in the Bowl segment.
Their resilience, especially after a 4-2 setback against Champion Wesley in the group stages, is commendable.
