Ranawara, known scientifically as Cassia auriculata, is a flowering plant native to Sri Lanka and India. It has beautiful yellow flowers and is widely appreciated for its medicinal properties. In traditional Ayurvedic and Sri Lankan herbal medicine, Ranawara tea is known for its health benefits, including promoting skin health, aiding digestion, and balancing blood sugar levels. It’s caffeine-free, which makes it a popular alternative to regular tea.

In Sri Lanka, the tea is often served as a refreshing drink, particularly in the hot climate, and is valued for its cooling effect on the body.
