Vision Care Empowers Young Athletes as the 2025 Official Eye-Care Partner of Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association 01

February 2025, Colombo:   Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s largest vision, hearing, and eyewear solutions provider, partnered with the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association as the official Eye-Care Partner for the National Junior Hockey Championship 2025. Held recently at the artificial hockey rink at Matale Turf Hockey Ground and Reid Avenue, Colombo 07, this prestigious tournament saw the participation of 14 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams from across the country.

As part of this partnership, Vision Care extended its support beyond financial contributions by providing free specialized vision screenings for the boys’ and girls’ teams, as well as match officials.  This initiative underscores Vision Care’s commitment to endorsing sports and hockey by ensuring that young athletes have access to proper eye care, an essential factor in enhancing their performance on the field.

Speaking on the significance of the sponsorship, Anuruddha Herath Bandara, Secretary of the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association, stated, “It is great to have an organization like Vision Care supporting the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association. We deeply appreciate Vision Care for stepping up as one of the key sponsors and ensuring our young athletes receive the necessary support to develop both their sporting skills and overall personal growth.”
