SLAWN (Srilankan-Australian Women’s Network) in collaboration with Cricket NSW, organising this event “A Night with Chamari Athapaththu & Special Guests ⚡️” at Cricket Central on Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 6pm. Comedian and author Sashi Perera hosting the event and a lineup of special guests in a live panel exploring leadership, sport and community. An authentic Srilankan canapes by P&S at the beginning and an authentic buffet by Colombo Social at the end of the Event.

SLAWN is established (2023) to provide a platform for women from Sri Lankan heritage to discuss taboo topics, and we have undertaken number of events during last two years including International Men’s Day in collaboration with three other organizations, South Asian Business Forum and FOMA (Fabric of Modern Australia) Participation with unique Aboriginal arts infused Sri Lankan batik fashion. We are making significant impact in the society, and we are keen to establish impactful partnerships for the future.
