Sri Lanka’s tourism sector has begun December on a strong note, welcoming over 25,000 visitors between December 1-4. This marks an increase from the 23,958 arrivals recorded during the same period in 2024, reflecting continued growth and renewed international confidence.
This early-December boost is led by top source markets including India, Germany, Russia, the UK and China, all contributing significantly to the surge in arrivals.
