MORATUWA NIGHT TWO presented by BUSINESS SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION PTY – REDEMPTION LIVE BAND – Featuring Melantha with GUEST ARTISTS on 29 November 2025
Moratuwa Night began in 2024 with the generous sponsorship of Business Systems Certification Pty Ltd, establishing itself as a vibrant cultural event celebrating music and talent from Moratuwa. Building on the success of its inaugural year, Moratuwa Night 2 was proudly held on 29 November 2025, at the Don Moore Community Hall Cnr – North Rocks Rd & Farnell Avenue, Carlingford attracting strong attendance and widespread appreciation.
The evening featured a lineup of well-known artists from Moratuwa, led by Melantha Perera, delivering outstanding performances that resonated deeply with the audience. The singers included Bonny Fernando, Melantha Perera, Nimal Punchihewa, and Sam Fernando, each of whom brought exceptional energy and professionalism to the stage. Melantha Perera and the guest artists were particularly brilliant, earning enthusiastic applause and praise from attendees throughout the night. Musical accompaniment was expertly provided by the Redemption Band, a group that also originated from Moratuwa, adding authenticity and local pride to the event.
Guests thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, with feedback consistently highlighting that everyone had a great time. The experience was further enhanced by excellent food, which complemented the entertainment and contributed to an overall memorable and well-rounded evening.
The event was well Compered by Senani Gunasekera, creating a great atmosphere to top the evening!
Moratuwa Night continues to grow as a standout event that celebrates community, culture, and music, while bringing people together in an atmosphere of enjoyment and pride.
