The Body Shop Sri Lanka gets 2021 off to a Seriously Sweet Start

As we bid Christmas 2020 goodbye, The Body Shop has ensured that along with it we do not have to see off the sweet deals that comes with the season. At their stores in Colombo and Kandy, their ‘Seriously Sweet Sale’ extends all the way through 31 January 2021, with an additional bumper sale during the last week of the month.

Be it self-care, a new routine you’ve been thinking of starting, stocking up on essentials or a thoughtful gift to show someone you care, now’s the time to get the most bang for your buck. The Body Shop’s loyalty programme, Love Your Body Club, members benefit throughout the month with a flat 50% discount on selected products, while from 12 to 22 January 2021 all customers who purchase three items from The Body Shop’s Bath & Body, Make Up, or Haircare ranges get a 15% discount, and those who buy four or more products from these ranges spend 20% less than the value of their purchase.

The rewards get even sweeter between 23 and 31 January with the bumper sale when all customers receive a 50% discount on selected products. During this time the 15% discount on three products and 20% discount on four products will be applicable to all product ranges.

Joining the Love Your Body Club is simple and quick. The loyalty card is available at an annual fee of Rs 1,000 at any of The Body Shop stores. Members enjoy special privileges, reward points and members’ only discounts. Benefits include 10% off all The Body Shop purchases throughout the year, first pickings at sales previews and new product launches, invitations to exclusive members-only events, as well as further discounts on promotions – in addition to a special 20% birthday discount! Furthermore, members who have spent a total of Rs 25,000 on purchases throughout the year will have their annual membership fee waived off for renewal for the next year.

The ethical beauty brand makes purchasing its products all the more rewarding because of the communities it enriches. Through a partnership with Oxfam in Sri Lanka, its most recent initiative gives customers the chance to contribute any amount equal to or over Rs 50 towards providing Dignity Kits (each comprising of disposable sanitary pads, underwear, rubber slippers, face masks, a towel, an educational menstrual hygiene leaflet, and a calendar) to those women and girls affected by period poverty and period shaming.

The Seriously Sweet Sale is on The Body Shop outlets in Colombo (flagship store on Bagatale Road, Colombo City Centre, and at Odel Alexandria Place) and Kandy (Kandy City Centre). Contact 0115765656 for delivery to Colombo & suburbs, and 0774476170 for Kandy & suburbs.
