I remember some members as I was in the middle school
RKV Premachandran, scored 110 N0 in our big match Vs SJC, 90 odd NO next year when his left elbow was fractured and missed the century. I remember watching that match. Years later I saw him directing the traffic at Colombo Oval after an international match. .He failed to prosper in Colombo playing on Turfs instead of matting.
Bunny Van Twest: Possibly a Dutch, excellent fielder, I remember him looking at the sun repeatedly shining over Jaffna Public !ibrary whilst coming in to bat
Narendra: I remember seeing him bowl left arm spin. He developed some mental health issues, use to wonder in to the hostel in the evenings
M. Sivasithamparam: I remember scoring 62 as a vice Captain, under M. Seevaratnam in ? 1959. I mentioned that to him inLondon some years back at JCC old boys dinner.
He corrected me saying he scored 63.

As requested i am sending it to Kanaga Maheswaran Kiruban’s uncle, when he opened batting Balarajan was the other opener, later after leaving school was a good opener of shandy bottles!
Bunny Vantwest next seated next Ethir’s younger Bro Pararajasingham who left JCC over Some issue joined Jaffna Clollege and Captained JC. RKV Premachandra aka Prema Jayawardana joined the police and rose to the rank of ASP. He was a really stylish player but he servered the ties with his Alma Mater which groomed him to that pedestal. Bunny was a very good fielder like Jonty Rhodes!
