“A Journey of Exploration” came to a triumphant close as the Sri Lanka and Australia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with key stakeholders, concluded a week-long series of events. This landmark initiative has strengthened bilateral ties between our two nations and opened doors to endless opportunities.

The Australian Trade Delegation from the Aboriginal Economic Development Unit of the Victoria State Government embarked on a transformative voyage exploring the trade industries and opportunities available in the food, textile and IT sectors in the country.

Kalum De Silva, President of the SriLanka and Australia Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the significance of this initiative, saying, “This is the union of Australia’s First Nations people with the indigenous community of Sri Lanka, weaving a tapestry of shared wisdom, resilience, and a deep reverence for the land.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all involved for making this journey possible! Sri Lanka Export Development Board Dr. Kingsley Bernard, SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies) Jehan Perinpanayagam, The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka Deepal Nelson, Sri Lanka – Australia – New Zealand Business Council Udara Cumaratunga, Port City Colombo Revan Philip Wickramasuriya Dhanya Gunawardana, Hatch Works Brindha Selvadurai, Orion City Jeevan Gnanam
