As planned, This book was officially launched at Colombo Port City on

the 3 Feb 2026 — and what an evening it turned out to be 🙏

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to attend, engage, question, and reflect. The room represented something powerful: diversity of sectors, diversity of thinking, and diversity of generations — from seasoned leaders in their 70s to curious young minds as young as 15.

We had representation from across Sri Lanka’s ecosystem, including:

•Information & Communication Technology

•Property Development

•Legal and Banking sectors

•Educational Institutions

•Economic Development bodies

•Entrepreneurs and startup founders

•Students and online media influencers

What stood out most was not just who was in the room — but how open the conversations were. The questions, the reactions during the live AI demos, and the shared realisation that AI is no longer optional made the evening truly special.

This book was never meant to be a technical manual. It was written as a thinking companion — to help individuals and organisations stay relevant in a world that changed faster than any of us expected. The message resonated clearly:

AI will not replace people — people using AI will.

Thank you for the warmth, the hospitality, and the genuine engagement. Colombo showed that Sri Lanka is not behind — it is ready.
