Ambassador – designate of Sri Lanka to the kingdom of Sweden assumes duties
The newly appointed Ambassador-designate of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Sweden Kapila Fonseka assumed duties at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm today.
During his career spanning 24 years, Ambassador-designate Kapila Fonseka, an officer of the Sri Lanka Foreign Service has served in a number of Sri Lanka Missions abroad and held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka. Mr. Fonseka previously served as the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Melbourne, at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in New Delhi, London and Sri Lanka Embassy in Berlin.
