Several “articles” have been written by “yours truly” for a web-site that, I think, is the very best internet “avenue” for all Lankans “down-under”to wander in. As you stroll down this remarkable roadway you will be given a choice of what you, our readers will be particularly interested in, be it sport, politics, human- interest stories, Lankan news, recipes & various other information pertinant to everyday living.

In addition, eLanka has a huge magnificent gallery of photographs where you might possibly see yourself enjoying a wedding reception, dance or party, dressed in all your finery &, in addition, photographs, (action & stills) of “sport & it’s sports-people+ sports- stories written to perfection by an ex-sportsman himself, Trevine Rodrigo in Melbourne. Feeling a little bit “under the weather” ?, Dr. Harold Gunatillake will soon make you feel better with his informative,very interesting medical “guidence”, gratis, and you don’t even have to pay him!!.In addition, other talented & well-known “Journos'” & Photographers superb work will be enjoyed from time to time.

“Advertising Flyers, leaflets, pamphlets, etc”.,of various “events” in Australia, Sri Lanka or anywhere else, for that matter, in all their art-design glory, can be viewed in eLanka which sends out special newsletters twice, monthly. Advertising with eLanka is extremely cost-effective & worthwhile. Corporations & businesses who now use “eLanka-expertise” are totally satisfied with the service they get & the word-of-mouth “advertising” that eLanka enjoys simply means more business for the web-site which always tries it’s very best for each & every “customer”.

Comments & constructive-criticism (ONLY) are always accepted by this writer. From the time I was afforded the chance of “writing” for eLanka, by it’s “I.T. Specialist, Managing Director Neil Jayasekera, he has seen fit to publish nearly 20 “Articles” plus song-lyrics & actual “You-Tube” songs on three separate sections of my own web-page on eLanka. I sincerely thank him for that, especially when, a couple of years ago I had no intention of “going on the Internet” & did’nt even know what a “Web-page” was.

I ‘ve had a couple of “comments'” about my “work” one, about the “excellent-articles” written and one other politely informing me that I should stick to song-writing & singing (to the effect that, as a “writer”, I made a very good Singer/Song-Writer). This polite- person was just referring to one particular article & the “story” was about the recent “Census” that almost “was’nt” on the 9th of August, just past.

I re-read my story at least half a dozen times and have to inform “Chris”(or Christine) that I cannot find anything wrong with it. I am not trying to criticise either the Government or the ABS and would’nt dream of trying to teach them their jobs, but our New Prime Minister himself was not too pleased with the “Security”of the Census operation and said so, in public. Every man & his DOG knew that a CATastrophe had occured that day, Chris & this was the basis of my article. The next “Census” will not be a menses(bloody)
operation and there will be no need to have a Royal- Commission into this one, thank goodness.!.

STILL, we, at eLanka welcome COMMENTS, and as I’ve said, at the very beginning, “CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
