The Mrs India World pageant, the endorsed national platform that leads its winner to the Mrs World competition, launched its inaugural “Elevitta” edition in 2025. The grand finale of the event was held on 30 October 2025 in Mumbai, with thousands of young beauties from Bharath participating.

During this grand finale, one of the best batik trademarks in Sri Lanka – Cyndlerk by Kalhary Marasinghe – was selected to provide costumes for 31 finalists of Elevitta Mrs India World, showcasing exquisite silk batik outfits (31 Opening number outfits).

The dresses in Sri Lankan Iconic batik, featuring a unique aesthetic of bold designs and vibrant colours, added vibrancy to the event and the beauties. Meanwhile, it further showcased a masterpiece of Sri Lankan tradition and the unique designs, which differ from the more subdued Javanese styles. Introduced during the Dutch colonial era, the art form has been adapted and evolved by local artisans, becoming an essential part of the island’s heritage and modern fashion scene.

The title “Elevitta Mrs India World 2025 finals” was awarded to Rinima Borah Agarwal. She will represent India at the upcoming Mrs World 2026 pageant.
