It has been a very exciting period working on this collection. Madhubani painting is an ancient art form practised by women and girls of the Mithila region of Bihar in India, and the connecting areas of Nepal. Our Madhubani artists have handpainted each saree with detail and dedication, inspired by the beauty of their natural environment. All the painting is done free hand using bamboo splints dipped in fabric dye, some sourced from forest materials like berries and indigo leaves. The painting has all been done on handwoven, locally grown Tussar Silk.

We are very proud to present the work of our artists along with other handwoven and hand embroidered sarees from other regions such as Banaras, Andhra, Bengal, Assam, Kotpad, among others.

We look forward to seeing you. The exhibition is open to everyone with free entry and parking facility.
