Peterites host Golf Open in Sydney: By Lawrence Machado
There will be plenty of competition and fun at the inaugural St. Peters Sydney Golf Open to be held on Sunday, April 21, at Muirfield Golf Club, North Rocks.
“There are plenty of passionate and talented golfers in our ranks so we are looking forward to seeing a large number compete for the different trophies throughout the event,” President of the St Peter’s College Sydney OBU Roshara Alles said.
“Players without a current handicap can nominate to a maximum of 27.”
Golfers will tee off at 11:15am and it will be an exciting tussle to see who emerges the overall champion for bragging rights. There are also awards for the champion and runner-up nett plus five awards for the Nearest To The Pin and two Longest Drives.
“There is a special event for the ladies so please encourage your spouses, partners, daughters, siblings, nieces and others to compete in this fun competition,” Roshara said. “We are looking forward to another day of fellowship and fun.”
The awards ceremony will be held at the clubhouse at 5.30pm, followed by a banquet dinner. Families are invited to join the presentation and dinner.
Prices for the golf event is $60, dinner is $40, while the combined golf and dinner is $95.
