Being born again is not about belonging to a church group or following religious traditions it is about experiencing a personal transformation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When a person accepts Jesus as Saviour, God changes the heart, forgives sin, and gives a new spiritual life.
A born-again believer begins to:
- love God more deeply
- desire to follow His Word
- turn away from sin
- live with a new purpose and hope
This change is not done by human effort, but by the power of God working inside the believer through the Holy Spirit. True Christianity is not just external religion—it is an internal relationship with Christ that produces a new life.
John 3:3
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
