James Anderson and Salman Agha nominated for BBL draft as full list of overseas players revealed

Cricket Australia today released the complete list of overseas players registered for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) and Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) drafts, set to take place on June 19. The draft will be broadcast live at 4 PM AEDT.
In total, more than 600 players from across the cricketing world have nominated for the BBL and WBBL drafts, making it one of the most competitive pools to date.
Specifically, 178 players from England, 74 from Pakistan, 42 from the West Indies, 13 from Sri Lanka, and 1 from India have been nominated for the BBL draft.
Prominent nominations for the BBL Draft include:
– James Anderson (England)
– Salman Ali Agha (Pakistan)
– Naveen-ul-Haq (Afghanistan)
– Siddarth Kaul (India)
– Niroshan Dickwella (Sri Lanka)
In the WBBL draft, players from several nations have also registered in strong numbers, including 46 from England, 15 from India, 15 from New Zealand and 11 from Pakistan.
Notable nominations for the WBBL Draft include:
– Amy Jones (England)
– Sadia Iqbal (Pakistan)
– Kanika Ahuja (India)

Clubs will compete for an array of outstanding international talent following the release of the final list of nominations for Thursday’s KFC BBL|15 and Weber WBBL|11 drafts.
Additionally, 15 of the 16 pre-signed players across both competitions have been announced, including Babar Azam joining the Sydney Sixers as part of an influx of Pakistani talent into the BBL this season.
