King Coconut ( Cocos nucifera Var.aurantiaca) Sri Lanka’s Natural Hydration Gift to the world .

Native and uniquely found in Sri Lanka, King Coconut is a special variety of coconut known for its bright orange shell, naturally sweeter water, and high electrolyte content, especially potassium.

You’ll find King Coconut trees not only on plantations grown for commercial use, but also in the gardens of homes across the island. A true part of everyday Sri Lankan life.

Indigenous heritage

What makes King Coconut truly special?? Known locally as “Thambili” (තැබිලි), this variety is indigenous to Sri Lanka. While coconuts grow in many tropical countries, this particular variety doesn’t naturally occur elsewhere.

Aurvedic wisdom
Celebrated for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine for its cooling, hydrating, and restorative properties. it’s more than just a drink, it’s tradition in every sip.

Cultivation Attempt Elsewhere
Although attempts have been made to grow King Coconut in regions like India or Southeast Asia, the flavor, nutrition profile, and water quality are never quite the same. It thrives best in Sri Lanka’s unique climate and soil conditions.

A Natural Gift Of Mother Nature  with heritage, hydration and health. While Coconut may be global, king coconut is proudly sri lankan.
