It is with great pleasure that I share details of a unique initiative close to our hearts — one that combines the power of storytelling, conservation, and compassion to support critically ill children in Sri Lanka.

“The World of the Black Leopard”, a very limited edition collector’s book, will be officially launched on Wednesday, 11th June 2025. This extraordinary publication serves as a powerful fundraising project in aid of the Little Hearts initiative, which is building a dedicated Cardiac and Critical Care Complex

at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Colombo.

This facility — endorsed by the Sri Lanka College of Pediatricians and the Government of Sri Lanka — will provide lifesaving treatment for children born with congenital heart disease. Over the years, Rotary and partners have contributed significantly to this mission through local and international surgical interventions, infrastructure development, and specialized medical training.

The upcoming launch of The World of the Black Leopard is a proud part of that ongoing effort.

This is no ordinary coffee table book. Produced in a strictly limited run, it showcases rare, never-before-seen imagery and rich narrative content that captures the mystique of one of nature’s most elusive creatures. Crafted with unparalleled attention to detail

, the book is a visual and emotional tribute — ideal for collectors, wildlife enthusiasts, and those who value purpose-driven art.

We believe the book will particularly resonate with individuals who understand service, legacy, and the quiet power of endurance — qualities embodied by both the black leopard and those who have served in uniform.

All profits — 100% — from this initiative will go directly to the Little Hearts project.

We sincerely hope you will join us in supporting this meaningful cause, either through the acquisition of the book or by helping to share its story within your community.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and for standing with us in service to the next generation.
