LCC MEDIA RELEASE: Get ready for New Year’s Eve at Liverpool’s Bigge Park

Liverpool will welcome the new year with a free fun family event and dazzling array of fireworks at Bigge Park on December 31.

This iconic event will feature the very best entertainment for families to ring in the New Year, with carnival rides, food trucks, live performances and fireworks at 9pm.

“New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and we have a fantastic free event in the works for the local community,” said Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun.

“There will be something for everyone to enjoy; from carnival rides and games for the kids, live music for teens and adults, to fireworks for all ages”.

Audiences will be treated to a host of live performances from artists including DJ Sebi D, Emily Who, Abbey Gardner, Groove Collective, Five Spice, Limited Edition and DJ Krixi.

An array of food trucks will be on site to suit every taste bud.

Children and families will have a blast enjoying the carnival rides, games and inflatables running throughout the event.

Liverpool’s FREE New Years Eve event will run from 5pm to 10pm. Gates will close at 8pm or once the site has reached capacity.

For the best night possible, plan to arrive early. To ensure the safety of our attendees, gates will close at 8pm or earlier if capacity is reached.

Please note parking at the event is limited.

“Bring your picnic blanket and get ready for a great local night out as we farewell 2025 and welcome 2026!” Mayor Mannoun said.
