Most Blessed Nights Food Market Returns

Liverpool Council’s Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market is back again, bringing with it street entertainment, the food of the world and evenings of enjoyment for every member of the family.

Most Blessed Nights is part of Liverpool Council’s Experience the World festival series which attracts hundreds of thousands of people a year to the Liverpool CBD and injects tens of millions of dollars into the local economy.

Last year, Most Blessed Nights itself attracted 155,900 people and generated $14.6 million for the local economy.

Macquarie Mall becomes a bustling bazaar with exotic foods and a tantalising atmosphere as Liverpool once again embraces this popular celebration.

As the sun sets and dusk falls over Liverpool, join us as the Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market provides a huge choice of foods from around the world.

Each weekend, the mall will be lined with tantalising sweet and savoury delicacies.

The food offerings include chargrilled plates; beef, pork, cheese, ham and cheese arepas; knafeh; chicken burgers; Zalabia and gamat sweets; loukoumades; baklava; Turkish coffee and tea; borek and desserts.

Lebanese drummers will bring the beats of the Middle East to Liverpool.

Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun said this is a sacred time for many in our community and each weekend, the heart of Liverpool will be the destination for families to gather and share in a meal together.

“It will be a feast for the senses, so join us for the Most Blessed Nights Street Food Market and taste the many flavours of the Middle East and beyond on a plate,” the mayor said.
