Over 100 whales beached at Panadura

More than 100 whales have beached along the Panadura coast today, Panadura police confirmed.

An operation has been launched by the Sri Lanka Police and the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to safely guide these whales back to sea.

A similar phenomenon of this nature was witnessed in Sampur several years ago.
