Over 100 Seniors Attend Sold-Out Seniors Awareness Luncheon at Cherrybrook Community C Cultural Centre,
CHERRYBROOK, Greater Sydney NSW — 13th September 2026
Pearl Life Care Incorporated (PLC) marked a major milestone on Sunday with a highly successful public launch and Seniors Awareness Luncheon held at the Cherrybrook Community C Cultural Centre.
The event was completely sold out, with just over 100 community members, seniors, families and dignitaries in attendance, demonstrating strong community support for PLC’s vision for a new retirement village in Greater Sydney NSW.
The program commenced sharp at 12 noon with MC, Mr. Duke Ramachandran, warmly welcoming guests and formally opening proceedings. MC Duke then introduced the distinguished guests who had joined to support the launch:

Each dignitary addressed the gathering, congratulating Pearl Life Care Inc on its community-led initiative and highlighting the importance of culturally inclusive, affordable and high-quality retirement living options for the growing senior population in Greater Sydney and the Hills District. They praised PLC’s focus on holistic wellbeing — health, legal protection, and financial security.
Following the official addresses, Duke presented a special slideshow introducing Pearl Life Care Retirement Village — its vision, values, and the upcoming community in Greater Sydney. The presentation outlined PLC’s commitment to creating a safe, connected, and dignified living environment where seniors can age well with independence, respect and cultural belonging.
The core of the luncheon featured three expert presentations, all highly appreciated by the audience:
- Healthy Ageing and Independence — Dr Upul Liyanage MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK), FRACP, AFRACMA, Staff Specialist Geriatric Medicine at Nepean Hospital and Head of General Medicine at Hawkesbury District Dr Upul shared a practical guide to “Living Well in Later Life,” covering prevention, managing chronic conditions, staying active and planning ahead for independence.
- Protecting Seniors’ Rights — Nalika Padmasena OAM Solicitor | Nationally Accredited Mediator | Nalika provided vital legal insights on Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship, and Family Dispute Resolution, empowering seniors to protect their wishes and their families.
- Financial Wellbeing in Retirement — Anton Rock Fernando FCMA (UK), FCPA, MBA, BCom, ACIM (UK), Anton explained how to build retirement income in layers, manage investment risks, understand superannuation and SMSFs, avoid scams and elder financial abuse, and ensure estate planning is done correctly.
Each session was presented using PLC’s signature blue hydrangea-themed design, with clear, practical takeaways for seniors and their families.
The presentations concluded around 1:30 pm, followed by a warm community lunch served at 1:45 pm, where guests continued networking, asking questions of the speakers, and sharing their enthusiasm for the Pearl Life Care project.
