The SL Malays not only brought their rich culture but also shared their culinary skills in the country they called home. No meal at a party is complete without Malay pickle or Nasi Goreng with Serkaya (wattalapam) for dessert and Dodol for the evening tea.

A 144 page recipe book ‘රසින් සපිරි මැලේ බොජුන්’ on Malay delicacies, a first of its kind compiled in Sinhala by Edward Chandrasiri is to be launched at the Public library on Saturday 02/09/2023 at 3pm with renowned Chef Deshabandu Pablis Silva, a maestro in the science of the culinary art delivering the oration.

The event is organisized by Conference of Sri Lankan Malays (COSLAM) and Pertubuan Bangsa Melayu.
