Requesting Donors to help us buy School Books & Stationery kit to Miani Children’s Home

I am Rev. Fr. Prabhas, serving as a missionary in Miani Nagar in Batticaloa. The purpose of this project is to provide School Books & Stationery Kit to orphanages and the needy poor people for their intellectual nourishment and growth. We hope that this initiative will bring a core change in our area as far as the intellectual developments of the children are concerned. The main reason to write this letter is we have almost 150 children both in our centre and day-scholars and I need to buy education related Books, School Bags, School & Stationery Kit etc.  For about 150 children as part of the project every year we provide the below mentioned School Essentials to school children by raising funds for their education. So, we are short of funds and I am requesting you to donate some amount of whatever the money possible or to send us below mentioned items whatever is possible from your side for this cause. Not only money; if you have a number of books or other stationery sets in your possession you can donate them also. We support many underprivileged children who wish to study, but cannot afford it. Besides awarding scholarships to some excellent minds, we cannot let go of others who are average in studies. We help them by paying their school & tuition fees, school uniforms & giving those books etc. We need books & stationery kits for the below-mentioned subjects for 150 students from grade 1st to 10th and Ordinary & Advance Level. Thank you in advance.

This is to inform you that the year-end school vacation starts on 24th of December, 2022 and it will last till 2nd Week of January 2023. Meanwhile Miani Children’s Home is exploring the possibility of re-arranging the rooms, purchasing the school kit for the new academic opening schools in 2023. The children’s home is planning the academic activities of school going children for 2023 which will begin on January 11, 2023. Ordinary Level & Advance Level examination will be announced later by the educational department.
