Rest In Peace Dimithri Seneviratne - By Lawrence Machado

Dimithri ‘Dimi or Dimz’ Micheal Seneviratne, the son of Tyronne and Meeling, sadly passed away on Saturday, January 11, after a brave battle with cancer.

Dimi, 30, attended St Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya and later the Royal Institute. Dimi, who left St Peter’s in 2006, worked at LOLC and Healthrecon. His Dad Tyronne Seneviratne is also an alumnus of St Peter’s College. His Mother, Meeling, attended Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya.

Dimi’s funeral will be held on Sunday, January 12. The viewing will be at Restpect, Jayaratne, Borella, from 9am, followed by the funeral at 3.30pm.

The family is very grateful to everyone for their prayers and support during Dimi’s initial diagnosis and through the many treatments. Your continued prayers are much appreciated.

OBITUARY

Dimithri ‘Dimi or Dimz’ Micheal Seneviratne: Loving son of Tyronne & Meeling, cherished grandson of Anne & Claude (late), John (late) & Vismie (late). Adored nephew of Judy & Damien, Alwin & Chrishanthi, Jeffrey & Sam and Jeremy. Loving cousin of Aldrin & Chrysl and devout cat-dad of Blaze and Yoko.

The remains will lie at Restpect, Jayaratne, Colombo 8. Viewing from 9 am on Sunday, January 12. Service at 3.30pm leaving the parlour on the same day at 4 pm for burial at Borella cemetery (Roman Catholic section).

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his precious soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
