Sangeeth Praveen, cum Sangeeth Visharada Vidusha Rajaguru, is a third year student at the Visual and Performing Arts University, was commended as a predominantly a ‘rock’ singer after a gruelling reality competition is the only female addition to Sri Lankan rock music scene. She has inherited singing skills via hereditary affiliations from her eldest sister  Umesha a visiting lecturer at UBL -University of visual and Performing Arts  having a Master of Arts degree at Kelaniya University.

Vidusha, a native of Matale, the family had moved to Colombo to facilitate the schooling of Vidusha and her two siblings. She has shown signs of her powerful vocal ability as she was able to sing flawlessly both low and high notes as well as in vivid genres from her tender age. In school Vidusha had won many singing competitions locally and all island category/. She had earlier triumphed to become the ‘Derana Little Star’..In year 2017, she was awarded the ‘Sarasaviya Award’ for singing the song ‘Lassanai Wananthare’ the theme song of the box office film ‘Ali Kathawa” directed by Professor Sunil Ariyaratne.

Vidusha has recorded many music videos perhaps more than many novice singers which are in her YouTube channel. The Buddhist song ‘Sambudu Ruwa’ her first song has been the most popular with millions of viewers. She had recorded a Christian song too with a video for Christmas 2024,which was hailed by the Christian Priesthood which too had drawn broad viewer attention.Earlier  her video on ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’ was released related to the recently concluded ‘Dalada Dekama’, the other songs recorded and released are ‘Kellak Nadda”, ‘Ananthaya Thek”, ‘Malsara Heesara’, ‘Rantharu Vabdanawa’, , and ‘Sunila Damvila’,’Pembara Sondura’, ‘Nubama Herada’. Diwaman  Thawthisawak’all with videos. For her Buddhist  song ‘Sambudu Ruwa’ she was awarded at the Sri Lanka Baudhaloka Literary Society’s award ceremony as the best Buddhist song in year 2024.  .

In school she had been a proficient ‘Chess’ exponent too winning at all island competitions apart in music competitions. She is also a competent exponent in ‘Kung fu Wushu’ also learning ‘Angampora’ which is totally for her protection and defence. Father an army officer deceased when Vidusha was only fifteen years.,Sangeeth Praveen Vidusha Rajaguru  has already established herself as an accomplished vocalist continues to delight fans with new songs,.
