Special Bulletin – SCAM ALERT
“Scams don’t just steal your money —
they steal your peace of mind.”
— Unknown
Sadly, the world is being taken over by AI — and with it, a tidal wave of fake content. This morning alone, my inbox has been flooded with reports of scam emails spreading blatant lies about superannuation.
These messages claim that super withdrawals are being tightened, that access is being delayed until age 70, and that super will be replaced by some kind of “work bonus.” Let me be absolutely this is complete rubbish.
Do not click on any links. Any genuine changes to super would be front-page news and thoroughly reported through official channels.
I don’t know what these scammers hope to gain — perhaps stolen identities, perhaps your money — but I do know this: the best defence is vigilance.
Stay alert. Stay informed. And never trust financial “news” that arrives uninvited in your inbox.
