Spread the love & share the joy with The Body Shop’s new Christmas gift collection

There’s no greater joy than giving, and The Body Shop’s new, best ever Christmas gift collection is bursting with love and care. This year, they’re spreading love and kindness with stocking sized treats and epic showstoppers packed with body-loving goodness for everybody and every budget.

Featuring packaging that’s kinder to the planet with clever, reusable constructions, this year’s line-up also supports The Body Shop’s Community Fair Trade partners behind their most-loved gift boxes and jute bags. Plus, every purchase over the Christmas period will help support thousands of children who have lost their families or primary caregivers to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Body Shop India will provide access to school supplies and quality healthcare.

A GREENER CHRISTMAS

The Body Shop’s gift packaging is more sustainable than ever before. The last remaining plastic components have been removed from their advent calendars, saving 29 tonnes (that’s around 112,000 Christmas baubles!) Plus, they’ve expanded their range of bath and body accessories made with sustainable alternatives to plastic.

Their bath lilies are now more sustainable than ever, made with ramie, an eco-friendly fibre, helping to save over 50 tonnes of plastic across the whole collection. That’s the same as 1.8 million plastic water bottles.

And to make buffing that body a little better for the planet, they’ve created a jute scrubber, handmade with materials sourced through their Community Fair Trade partner, and a new biodegradable konjac sponge.

And the cherry on the top? They’ve designed most of their gift packaging to be reused or repurposed too, so your treats and surprises have a long life after Christmas.

SPECIAL EDITION BODY CARE IS BACK

The Body Shop has brought back two of its popular festive fragrances. Welcome back, Love & Plums. Enriched with plum extract from Turkey, this rich, bright, fruity-floral range combines notes of plum sorbet, peony and comforting musk. This favourite is guaranteed to find its way on many Christmas lists.

Special Edition Kindness & Pears is also making a comeback. Enriched with pear extract from Italy and notes of juicy pear, strawberry and warm tonka bean, this sweet, vibrant, fruity fragrance will put you in the Christmas spirit. This year, Special Edition Joy & Jasmine is also here to brighten up your stocking. It’s enriched with jasmine extract from India and fresh, light, joyfully floral notes of orange flower, rose and sensual jasmine.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR EVERY BEAUTIFUL BODY

Skincare obsessive? Makeup magpie? The Body Shop have gifts to delight everybody on your list. From the Comfort & Cheer Body Butter Trio, to the Shake & Swish Ginger Haircare Gift, there are top-to-toe treats to surprise and pamper every inch this Christmas.

Fans of their iconic fragrance will love the Florals & Frost White Musk® Big Gift, overflowing with floral, cruelty-free favourites. And for the Christmas party aficionados, the Flutter & Flick Eye Makeup Gift makes nailing the perfect eyeliner flick effortless.

For someone you really want to spoil, their Fresh & Festive Drops of Youth™ Skincare Gift is packed with treats to help smooth and give you a fresh-faced looking glow.

And for a gift you can feel really good about giving, The Gift of Joy is bursting with Community Fair Trade must-haves perfect for pampering. It even comes in a handwoven, reusable chest.

MAKEUP FOR WINTER PARTY SEASON

The Body Shop have all your big nights out covered with makeup gifts to outshine even the brightest disco ball. Vegan makeup brushes are at your fingertips. It packs all the tools you need to create a dazzling party look.

The perfect cat eye? It’s just a swish and a flick away with the Happy Go Lash Mascara, and don’t forget their bestselling Camomile Cleansing Balm, it’s perfect for popping into your handbag for during and after the party.

CREATE SOME JOY

Prefer something a little more personal? No problem. The personalised gift range lets you create something truly special, filled with the treats they love. Every element of the gift is down to you, even the packaging.

Get Paper Industry, The Body Shop’s Community Fair Trade partner since 1989, has handcrafted this year’s beautiful gift boxes using recycled paper and upcycled cotton offcuts. Each box shares uplifting stories of the women who made them.

Based in Nepal, they offer fair and equal pay to their predominantly female workforce, and provide social initiatives that support the local community.

“GPI provided a safe and positive work environment which has allowed me to support my family, and my daughter to pay for her own tuitions,” says GPI artisan Sita Bishwakarma. “When I think that my daughter could achieve her ambition to become a civil engineer someday, I feel so happy and proud.”

The Body Shop’s first ever Community Fair Trade partner, Teddy Exports, has also crafted this year’s gorgeous gift pouches made with 100% natural jute. In a partnership spanning over 30 years, Teddy Exports has grown from five craftspeople to providing fair pay and work for over 600 people in 30 villages, and funded innovative healthcare initiatives and education for thousands of children.

Shop the perfect gift, handcrafted with love and joy by you and these incredible Community Fair Trade artisans at The Body Shop flagship store on Bagatale Road, Odel in Alexandra Place, the Kandy City Centre, and at the Colombo City Centre in Colombo 02.
