Sri Lanka Named 4th Best Country for Long Vacations in Global Study

Aviation Voice: Sri Lanka has been recognized as the 4th best destination for long vacations in a study conducted by Ubuy India, a global e-commerce platform.
With a total score of 42.283 and a search volume of 1,127,010, the study evaluated over 100 countries based on factors such as affordability, cultural richness, safety, and travel convenience.
The report highlighted Sri Lanka’s crime index of 42.1 and a domestic transportation quality score of 4.4 out of 7. The island’s rich cultural heritage is emphasized by its eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites and approximately 40 popular attractions, translating to a density of 0.12 heritage sites and 0.61 attractions per 1,000 square kilometers.
“Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and unique experiences make it a standout choice for history enthusiasts,” the study remarked, further cementing its reputation as a top travel destination.
