SUNDAY CHOICE – The Biblical definition of Grace by Charles Schokman

Grace is the basis for the Christian faith. We believe we are saved by faith through grace.                            God’s grace is usually defined as undeserved favour. Grace cannot be earned; it is something that is freely given.

We count on God’s grace and the bridge He built in our relationship with Him.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Let’s rejoice in  the Goodness of His grace.

Lyrics

Come you broken, heavy laden
Come you helpless, come you in despair
Come be blessed, come be saved
Come believe, come receive the goodness of God’s grace

God’s grace is amazing, the lifeline of my soul
God’s grace is faithful, Jesus conquered all
By grace, He died, so I may live
By grace, I am saved

Come you weary, hope and be free
Come you helpless, lift your misery
Come be blessed, and be blessed
Come be saved, and be saved
Come believe, come receive the goodness of God’s grace

God’s grace is amazing, the lifeline of my soul
God’s grace is faithful, Jesus conquered all
By grace, He died, so I may live
By grace, I am saved

God’s grace is amazing, the lifeline of my soul
God’s grace is faithful, Jesus conquered all
By grace, He died, so I may live
By grace, I am saved

God’s grace is amazing, the lifeline of my soul
God’s grace is faithful, Jesus conquered all
By grace, He died, so I may live
By grace, I am saved

Come you broken, heavy laden
Come you helpless, come you in despair (oh come)
Come be blessed, and be blessed
Come be saved, and be saved
Come, believe, come receive the goodness of God’s grace

You are welcome to pass this on.
