Sri Lanka ‘hopeful’ to be off UK red list by September Sri Lanka is ‘hopeful’ it will be removed from the UK red list by September. The country’s high commissioner to the UK, Saroja Sirisena, hailed Sri Lanka’s “phenomenal” healthcare response and said she was hopeful the country was “on track” to make it off the UK’s red list from September.
