Vision Care Showcases Latest Eye Care Technologies 01

24th July 2024, Colombo: Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s leading vision, hearing and eyewear solutions provider recently introduced its latest technologies and procedures for eye care at the Mini Congress organized by the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka. The two-day event concluded successfully, attracting a significant number of local and international consultant ophthalmologists, doctors, and professionals in the field.

Consultant ophthalmologists engaged in comprehensive discussions covering various advanced topics in the field. They explored Oculoplasty, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and the management of Ocular Inflammation and Infections. The discussions also included modern Investigations in Ophthalmology, handling Ocular Emergencies, and Cornea/Refractive Surgery, highlighted through an interactive quiz. Additionally, they participated in a controversies debate, ensuring a thorough examination of these critical areas within the field.

The primary objective of the congress was to raise awareness about advancements in the field, present the latest research findings, and introduce new eye care procedures. Vision Care’s participation underscored its commitment to offering state-of-the-art services and products. The event provided an excellent platform for Vision Care to showcase its latest ocular diagnostic facilities and procedures, demonstrating their dedication to enhancing eye care in Sri Lanka.

Vision Care’s exhibition stall was a highlight of the congress, featuring an array of state-of-the-art instruments and eye care equipment. The primary reason for participating in such events is to ensure that medical professionals are aware of the latest facilities provided by Vision Care, enabling them to refer patients confidently, knowing they will receive the highest quality care. This includes a comprehensive range of ocular diagnostic tests for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract, dry eye-related assessments, thyroid eye disease-related assessments, color vision problem correction options, vision therapy, etc.

Vidya Jayarathna, Head of Academy and Optometry at Vision Care, said, “The congress provided valuable networking and a platform to showcase our services and innovations. Vision Care’s participation supports our strategy to lead in eye care innovation and service excellence, ensuring we meet our customers’ needs with the latest advancements.”

With over 30 years of service excellence, Vision Care is in the process of expanding its network of branches with the aim of serving as many Sri Lankans as possible. All Vision Care branches are guaranteed to provide the best quality eye care solutions to customers. The company intends to continue to add new branches and upgrade existing ones in the future in order to bring Vision Care’s world-class products and services to their customers’ doorstep, thereby enabling them to easily and safely access eye and hearing care of international quality.
