What has happened to the Little Hearts project?

The Little Hearts project has come to a critical juncture. We need to raise 5 million USD to complete the project by the end of this year. For that, we need your support. Please read this. Please spread this message among all your friends and family living overseas. If 100,000 Sri Lankans living overseas (or foreigners who want to save a Sri Lankan child) donate 50 USD each we can collect this 5 million USD to complete the project. You can donate in whichever currency you wish. You can donate whatever amount you wish. If you wish to donate using your credit card, please visit our secure website to complete the donation. https://www.littlehearts.lk/usd_donat… If you wish to do a direct bank transfer, please use the following details Bank: Sampath Bank Bank Code: 7278 Account Name: Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians – Little Hearts Project Account Number: 500410008028 Branch: Borella Branch Code: 004 Swift Code: BSAMLKLX To see the progress of the project, please visit https://www.littlehearts.lk/donation-… 100% of your donations are used for the construction of the cardiac and critical care complex at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital. We assure 100% transparency and accountability in all our financial transactions. Up to now, we have raised over 925,000 million LKR which was equivalent to 5.1 million USD before the USD crisis. Unfortunately with the depreciation of the rupee, we are compelled to look for alternative sources. That is the reason why we thought of requesting the expatriates. We hope that all Sri Lankans who care about our children will come forward to help us at this critical juncture.
