Fernando and Miriam Fernando,​ brother of Locksley and Desmond,​ brother-in-law of late Septi and late Anurika,​ was called to rest in the arms of Jesus on 15th July 2023. Remains lie at his residence at No. 20/​2,​Borella Cross Road,​ Colombo 8.
