Up to 100,000 temporary election jobs available [SEC=OFFICIAL]

Community

Good morning Community Representative,

The AEC delivers a range of election events including federal elections, by-elections, plebiscites and referendums. For an election event, up to 100,000 employment opportunities in metro, regional and remote areas across Australia will be available.

The AEC’s role is to successfully deliver impartial electoral events with the highest levels of integrity. To work at the referendum you must be both politically neutral and issue neutral.

No election experience is required, AEC will train, prepare and support successful candidates in their your election role. To reflect the diverse community, the AEC welcomes people from all backgrounds and locations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to join us and participate in upholding democracy.
