It was an absolute pleasure catching up with top notch female vocalist and icon, Corrine Almeida, at our place for an overdue chat and dinner.
She’s a breath of fresh air and our quiet meet up was one of reminiscing and health advice from a proven Yoga enthusiast.
Corrine is here from Sri Lanka for two gigs, and judging by the sell out crowd at the Springvale Town Hall last week, the next one promises a similar outcome. She is a gifted entertainer.
Corrine has been a huge draw in Australia and around the globe much like legendary Desmond De Silva, and her interaction with her fans has little parallel.
She spoke with humility about how glad she was to be blessed with a faithful following, many who never fail to show up wherever she performs.
She points out that discipline and unrelenting focus and dedication is key to longevity. Her impeccable track record certainly emphasises and backs her belief.
Anne and I were able to glean some interesting knowledge about the benefits of Yoga from Corrine, much of it that gives you control over health, simplicity and emotion.
