DO YOU KNOW Vietnam is the world top cashew nuts exporter and Binh Phuoc is the “Cashew nuts capital”  of the country with the largest cultivation area. At its peak, Binh Phuoc had over 200,000 hectares of cashew. Currently it has 152,000 hectares, yielding around 170,000 tons per year.

With favorable natural conditions for cashew trees to grow: Basalt red soil suitable for growing perennial crops, suitable  weather and temperature, combined with the many years farming experience, all of these create the number-one cashew in term of the quality in the world . Binh Phuoc cashew nut products have been exported to over 100 countries such as EU, USA, Japan, Australia, and China, etc.

The cashew sector in Binh Phuoc provides jobs for more than 50,000 laborers and has helped many poor households, especially ethnic ones, escape poverty.
