Dropped by at Chuti Foods in Narre Warren to pick up a delicious rice and curry and ran into Lasith Malinga and his family who were dining there for lunch.
Choosing beef curry was a let down though. ( “like chewing leather”, says Anne).
Had a brief chat about cricket before parting ways. Told me he is contracted with the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming IPL.
He now resides in Berwick with his family over the past couple of years.
