VALE DULEEP BOTEJU
We mourn the loss of Duleep Boteju, a trailblazer in introducing Hoppers Kothu, Godamba Rotti and other Sri Lankan delicacies, in Melbourne in 1995 and who worked at Lanka Oberoi. He was 76 years old when he collapsed and passed away in his home kitchen this morning 14/1/26 . He had been widowed for 10 years. His only child, Duleesha, survives him.
