Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Egypt 20th September – 2nd October 2008

From 20th Sept. to 2nd October 2008 Claudette & I with the help of Superlink Travels, Sri Lanka organised a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land & Egypt for the following:—

Our Group from Australia: Charles & Claudette Schokman• Darrel & Noeline Willenberg • Donald & Eunice Kimpton• Cholmondley & Melrose Willenberg • Ralph & Yvonne Pereira • Ernley & Aney Pereira • Ann Vanderwert • Dalryn Van Cuylenberg • Astrid Bowen • June Herft • Marlene Matthews • Hermoine Lamb • Joyce Mulholland • Lynette Gogerly • Sheila Gauder • Merryel Perera• Genevieve Bogtstra • Gwen Boustead • Mary Rudolph • Joan Hamilton • Rozaine Pereira• Ursula Visevic • Stephanie Bartholomuesz • Chinta De Silva • Clement Van Rooyen• Amira Cooke (Sydney) • Anita Nathanielsz (Sri Lanka). (These 12 have gone to be with the Lord)

In Jerusalem we did walk a part known as the Via Dolorosa (Latin for “Way of Suffering” or “Sorrowful Way“).and was told that it was the same road that Jesus strove. This appears now to be incorrect in light of this new discovery.
