Next generation of stars to assemble in Adelaide for Talent Camp

The U19 Men’s Talent Camp will take place in Adelaide from 29 March to 2 April. The camp will bring together 25 emerging players identified at last season’s National U17 Male Championships.

The four-day program starts Australia’s preparations for the 2028 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup cycle.

The camp will feature two 50-over intra-squad matches and a T20 fixture, complemented by testing and education sessions.

2026 U19 Male Talent Camp:

Joseph Mendis (ACT, Weston Creek Molonglo CC), Blake Cattle (NSW, St George CC), Toby Derrick (NSW, Wodonga Raiders), Arnav Yadav (NSW, Sydney University CC), Neel Patel (NSW, University of NSW CC), Cooper Williams (NSW, Marist Brothers CC), Kostas Saisanas (NSW, Bankstown CC), Angus Smith (NSW, Sutherland CC), Theodore Bacalakis (QLD, University of QLD CC), Spencer Green (QLD, Toombul DCC), Eli Brain (QLD, Northern Suburbs DCC), Theo Tsingos (QLD, Northern Suburbs DCC), Charlie Henderson (QLD, University of QuLD CC), Ishaan Sandhu (QLD, South Brisbane DCC), Thomas Vaseo (QLD, Redlands CC), Hayden Burbulovic (SA, Tea Tree Gully CC), Connor Gregory (SA, Sturt CC), Simrth Gill (VIC, Essendon CC), Jacob Pietz (VIC, Camberwell Magpies CC), Dacry Noonan (VIC, Ringwood CC), Joshua Driscoll (VIC, Melbourne CC), Cooper Reemy (VIC, Frankston Peninsula CC), Patrick Sullivan (VIC, Geelong CC), Mathew Lough (WA, Claremont Nedlands CC) and Noyan Rostame (WA, Gosnells CC).

Cricket Australia High Performance staff, led by U19 Men’s Head Coach Tim Nielsen, will oversee the camp. The camp will be attended by members of the Youth Selection Panel.

Sonya Thompson, Cricket Australia Head of National Development, said:

“We congratulate all selected players and look forward to welcoming the group to Adelaide as we continue to develop the next generation of Australian cricketers.

“The camp offers an important opportunity for players to connect with peers from around the country and engage with Australian HP staff.

“It will also allow us to gather valuable baseline data to support each player’s development and progression through the national pathway.

“We extend our thanks to SACA and the SASI for their support in creating an excellent environment for our emerging players throughout the camp.”
