Hameedia Ties Up with NOC SL and CGA SL as Team Sri Lanka’s Official Clothing Partner for Upcoming International Sporting Events
Hameedia, Sri Lanka’s leading menswear and lifestyle brand, has been appointed the Official Clothing Partner for Team Sri Lanka, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC) and the Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) of Sri Lanka. The signing ceremony was held on 11th August 2026 at Olympic House, formalising a partnership that will see Hameedia dress Team Sri Lanka’s athletes and officials at upcoming international sporting events.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Hameedia by Mikail Hameed, Head of Design and Business Development, together with the management board of the National Olympic Committee. The signing ceremony was also attended by Habiba Hameed, Marketing & Business Development for Hameedia Women; Asma Hussain, Brand Manager for Husn; and Kasun Weerasinghe, Head of Marketing, Hameedia. Representing the NOC SL and CGA SL were Asanga Seneviratne, President of NOC/CGA Sri Lanka; Rifdy Fahmy, Secretary General of NOC/CGA Sri Lanka; Dilshan Mohamed, Chairman of the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee of NOC Sri Lanka; Danuna Tilakaratne, Chef de Mission of Team Sri Lanka for the 7th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Riyadh 2026; and Niluka Karunaratne OLY, Chairman of the Games Committee and Athletes Commission of NOC Sri Lanka.
Under the partnership, Hameedia will design and produce official team apparel for Team Sri Lanka, beginning with the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2026 and continuing through the Commonwealth Youth Games 2027.
