What a start to the ATCC Victoria Annual Gala
Our future ready generation opened the evening with a Tamil song, the Australian national anthem and Bharatanatyam, the classical Tamil dance tradition that delighted the audience.
As migrants who have made Melbourne our home, seeing young people honour their Tamil roots while embracing Australian culture means a great deal to me.
Through song and dance, they are keeping our heritage alive and enriching Australia’s multicultural future.
A fitting opening, with our next generation leading the way.
