Brisbane Heat launches Shaheen’s Fan Bay to celebrate Shaheen Shah Afridi’s first BBL stint
In an exciting move to celebrate the first BBL stint of Pakistan’s pacer, Brisbane Heat has announced the launch of a dedicated fan zone named as “Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Fan Bay” at the Gabba for five home matches during the upcoming BBL season. Tickets of this dedicated bay will be available soon.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, who will be representing Brisbane Heat this summer, bringing his fiery pace and global fan following to Australian shores.
The Shaheen Bay will be a vibrant space for fans to unite, cheer, and celebrate the presence of the Pakistani superstar.
Shaheen Bay will be active during the following Brisbane Heat home matches at the Gabba:
19 December vs Perth Scorchers
27 December vs Adelaide Strikers
2 January vs Melbourne Stars
10 January vs Sydney Thunder
18 January vs Sydney Sixers
Fans attending these matches can expect Shaheen-inspired fan gear, and a high-energy atmosphere designed to reflect the passion of Pakistani cricket supporters.
The initiative is also a part of a broader effort to connect communities in Australia with the international talent in the BBL.
In addition to Shaheen’s appearances, fans can look forward to seeing other South Asian stars in action this summer, including Babar Azam, Ravichandran Ashwin, Haris Rauf, Jemimah Rodrigues, Hassan Ali and Shadab Khan across the WBBL and BBL tournaments.
