As soon as I read through the good advice given -gratis to everyone out there, it brought to mind that, especially nowadays, what with computers, ipads, iphones and other technological gadgets containing letters and numbers so small, even those with 20/20 eyesight would find that eye-strain would be part and parcel of being an Internet geek in the long run. I served in the Royal Ceylon Navy from 1953 until the end of 1961, when I had to buy myself out of a twelve year contract with the Force, in order to migrate to Australia. This writer suffered and beat the big C twice, without going through the Chemotherapy, Radiation-therapy etc,, etc., and am glad of it, because I hear, from friends who have had this dreaded disease in one form or another, that often, the treatment is far worse than the cure.
