During the event, Hameedia announced a donation of Rs. 1 million to the Indira Cancer Trust from the proceeds of their ‘Pink Collection,’ a special range designed to support breast cancer awareness and detection. Additionally, the Indira Cancer Trust will receive 30% of the proceeds from each purchase of these products. Hameedia also distributed 100 life-saving jackets through its Lifeworth project, in collaboration with the Marine Police and the Rotary Club of Colombo, as part of their efforts to reduce drowning incidents. Furthermore, Lifeworth has set up a life-saving pillar with two lifeguards stationed at Wellawatte Beach to enhance safety in the area.
