Heritage Sites : New decision on access for Local and Foreign children

Source : newswire

The Government has approved to allow free access to non-ticketed heritage sites for local children under the age of 18, and to issue entry passes under limited conditions for foreign children under 18.

According to the Central Cultural Fund, this initiative is effective from 01 July 2025.

The primary objective of this decision is to instil an appreciation of cultural heritage among local children and foster awareness of national heritage institutions and sites.

The Central Cultural Fund states that foreign children will also be granted access under fair and appropriate procedures.

These measures aim to provide children with suitable opportunities and valuable educational experiences when visiting national heritage sites.

The Central Cultural Fund points out that, in particular, offering free access based on age to local children is intended to nurture genuine understanding and interest in their national heritage. (Newswire)
