Foster care needed urgently for 2 kids
The Hindu Council of Australia, in collaboration with SSI’s foster care program, is seeking support from the Hindu community for two children of Indian Hindu background who are currently in urgent need of a safe and caring home.
We are looking for compassionate North Indian, Hindi speaking individuals or families who may be able to provide foster care for these children, aged 8 (boy) and 11 (girl). Supporting them to remain connected to their cultural and religious heritage is essential for their well-being.

Sydney Sanskrit School celebrates 20 years
Last week the School of Vedic Sciences (Aust), Inc / Sydney Sanskrit School hosted a momentous celebration at The McKell Room in the NSW Parliament to mark 20 years of excellence in Sanskrit learning with the official release of their Commemorative Multicultural Pin.

The Hindu Hub recently had the pleasure of welcoming Tom Norman, a young Aussie farmer who joined the NSW Rural Fire Service to serve and give back to the community. He spoke to our young community members about volunteering opportunities with the RFS.
